DESIGN PORTFOLIO

Welcome to my Industrial Design Portfolio, a showcase of creativity and expertise in industrial design. Explore my collaborations, including projects like the U&L ergometer, Ember Rest, and the Bake Buddy toy, all highlighting skills in rapid prototyping, electronics, sketching, and CAD modelling.

ABOUT ME

I’m in my final year of a Bachelor of Industrial Design at Griffith University, driven by a desire to design the kind of world I want to live in. Growing up, I was always filling books sketching wild ideas, like hoverboots, dreaming of becoming an inventor. As I got older, movies like Iron Man blew my mind and cemented my love for design, technology, and building things that feel just a little bit like magic.

Throughout my studies, I’ve explored projects that blend physical design, emerging technologies, and long-term thinking, but one of the most formative experiences was my internship with BioSpine. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team to develop a medical rehabilitation device gave me firsthand insight into designing for real users, at real scale, with real impact.

I thrive in environments where creativity meets problem-solving. My strengths lie in rapid prototyping, sketching, and 3D modelling, supported by tools like SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot, and Procreate. Whether I’m sketching ideas in a notebook or refining detailed CAD models, I approach every challenge with intention, curiosity, and a strong sense of purpose.

My peers and mentors often describe me as intelligent, creative, and focused, someone who can merge visual thinking with practical criteria to deliver exciting, well-resolved solutions. I bring enthusiasm, organisation, and a collaborative mindset to every project.

Looking ahead, I’m passionate about the intersection of technology, lifestyle, and outer-space. I want to work on the front edge of innovation, building products that make the future more accessible, whether that's in everyday homes or orbiting the planet. For me, success is about the freedom to create meaningful work, lead with responsibility, and have fun doing it.

Beyond the classroom, my perspective has been shaped by time spent living abroad in Korea. Immersing myself in another culture broadened my understanding of design, communication, and people, all of which are central to how I work. I stay creatively energised by the people around me: conversations, shared ideas, and the chance to learn from different perspectives inspire me more than anything.

At the end of the day, I want people to feel impressed, not just by what I’ve made, but by the way I think, communicate, and collaborate.
